Brainfile isn't split into tiers. There is one plan — the Autopilot protocol, all 10 pattern files, all 15 role packs, and the freshness feed — and you choose how you pay for it: $99/month, or $999/year ($83/mo — two months free). Same product either way. Nothing is held back from the monthly plan.
This page used to hold the annual plan back until cloud delivery shipped. Cloud delivery has now shipped: your licence pulls the full system, role packs included, straight into your project with one command. So annual is on sale, and this page says so.
What you get (identical on both billing periods)
The Autopilot protocol · all 10 v1 pattern files (never-empty backlog, never-forgets ledger, interview onboarding, end-of-run brief, conversation history, memory starter) · all 15 role packs — a role-tuned CLAUDE.md per profession · the versioned freshness feed. Runs on your existing Claude plan (Pro, Max or Team); no extra API cost.
The maths
Monthly is $99 × 12 = $1,188/yr. Annual is $999/yr — you save $189, about two months free. That's the only difference between them.

The 30-day free trial needs no credit card. It ships the Autopilot protocol, the 10 pattern files and the freshness feed. The 15 role packs are subscriber-only — they are not part of the trial. We'd rather tell you that up front than have you find out after paying.
